Our New Strategic Plan
We are in the final stages of preparing our new strategic plan to guide our work from January 2023 to December 2027. The plan guides all of our legal work, staffing, training, and budget decisions for five years. The draft plan is in a PDF on our website. We will post the final version when it is complete and approved by our board of directors.

Three former clients describe how VLAS made a critical impact on their lives.
On Saturday, staff and family from the VLAS Farmville office joined with former employee Jessie Woodson Johnson and her At The Well Outreach Ministry for a clothing and blanket giveaway in our office parking lot. We had an excellent turnout and distributed at least 1,000 items of clothing, comforters and linens. ![]()
Remaining suits were gifted to the Longwood University Career Services clothing closet for students needing interview attire.![]()
All remaining items were then donated to Heritage Baptist Church for its own clothes closet.![]()
